CLASS 1  (NOVICE)                                  INSPIRED BY THE SEASON
An Exhibit. Space Allowed: Width 76cm, Depth 70cm, Height l06cm.
Staged on tabling covered with AOIFA green drapes without a background in a marquee.

CLASS 2  (INTERMEDIATE)                       HOT SUMMER 
An Exhibit. Space Allowed: Width 76cm, Depth 70cm, Height l06cm.
Staged on tabling covered with AOIFA green drapes without a background in a marquee.

CLASS 3 (OPEN)                                      NATURE'S CHALLENGE 
An Exhibit. Space Allowed: Width 76cm, Depth 70cm, Height Optional. Staged on tabling covered with AOIFA green drapes without a background in a marquee.

CLASS 4 (OPEN)                                           BREAKING THE MOULD 
An Exhibit. Foam Free Class*. Space Allowed: Width 76cm, Depth 70cm, Height Optional. Staged on tabling covered with AOIFA green drapes without a background in a marquee. *No Floral Foam or Floral Foam substitute is permitted.

CLASS 5 (OPEN)                                             LIVING IN HARMONY 
A Plants & Flowers Exhibit. Space Allowed: Width 76cm, Depth 70cm, Height Optional. Staged on tabling covered with AOIFA green drapes without a background in a marquee.

CLASS 6 (OPEN)                                          AURA OF MYSTIQUE 
A Petite Exhibit. Space allowed: width 25cm, depth 25cm, height 37cm Staged on a mid-grey base 25cm x 25cm. Exhibit to be pre-done.

REGULATIONS
1. Exhibits to be judged in accordance with the NAFAS Competitions Manual Fourth Edition 2023.
2. (a) Novice: An exhibitor who has not won a first prize at a major show. A novice may also enter the Intermediate and Open Classes.
(b) Intermediate: An exhibitor who has won first prize in the Novice Class at a major show. An Intermediate may also enter the Open Classes
3. Exhibits should be the original, unaided work of the competitor, and must be assembled in the staging area (Exception Class 6) and not have been entered previously on any forum.
Pre-done work: Many techniques whether contemporary or
traditional, require a great deal of time to complete. Pre—done work of this type is acceptable in any class, unless specifically excluded by the show schedule.
4. Competitors may enter as many classes as they wish but may not stage
more than one entry per class.
5. All exhibits and competitors' property will be at the risk of the competitor and neither AOIFA nor Cork Summer Show can accept any liability whatsoever for any loss or damage sustained by any competitor.
6. By entering the competition, you are agreeing to allowing an image of your design be published and named by AOIFA & The Munster Agricultural Society, in any form.
7. The Judges' decision is final.
8. Prizes will be given in the following Categories, Best in Show, Runner Up to Best in Show, Best Use of Texture, Best Use of Colour and Best Use of Garden Plant Material.
9. An empty space spoils the Show, so please do not enter more Classes than can be attempted. Exhibitors unable to attend should inform the Competition Secretary as soon as possible.
