While the Judges committee have been quiet, we have enjoyed seeing so many people competing at various events throughout the summer.
Congratulations must go to everyone who entered the recent Interclub and FAY heats in Dublin and Cork, also to those who competed at Bloom, the Cork Summer show and other shows throughout the country.
The standard of work on the bench has been extremely high which is a great advertisement for AOIFA and continues to elicit interest from the public. Hopefully, it will encourage new people to get involved and inspire existing members to compete in the future. Well done must go to our wonderful judges who excelled themselves again when faced with the difficult task of weighing up the merits of these exhibits.
I would like to congratulate Elizabeth Murray on passing her NAFAS National Judges exam over the summer.
I'm delighted to announce that the next Judges accredited day will be held on Saturday 21st March 2026 at the Anner Hotel Thurles. Our tutors for the day will be Brid Kelleher and Mary O'Brien. Details will be sent out nearer the day.
